1986 and began serving community banks throughout the Commonwealth
of Virginia. In 1996, the name was changed to Community Bankers’
Bank and the market was expanded to include financial institutions
in Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and
the District of Columbia (the 5th Federal Reserve District).

by community banks. "As one of only twenty 'bankers’
banks” in the country to serve the banking needs of financial
institutions and Officers and Directors of financial institutions.
